Guangdong Huizhou maritime police bureau received a report on the evening of November 11 that there were suspected smuggling activities in the area under its jurisdiction. After verification and analysis of the information, the Guangdong Huizhou maritime police bureau quickly dispatched marine police motor boats and vehicles to the target area to carry out joint investigation and arrest by sea and land. At about 20:40, the law enforcement officers of the Bureau found that someone was carrying suspicious goods to land vehicles by speedboats in the sea area near xiaoguilao Wharf in Daya Bay, and then closely tracked and monitored the target.
When the time for arrest is ripe, the law enforcement officers of the Bureau immediately step forward to control the suspected vehicles and personnel, and inspect the vehicles. After on-site search, four handbags were found in the vehicle, all of which contained cuboid metal blocks with obvious foreign language marks. The personnel on board were unable to provide proof of the legal origin of the goods carried.

According to the Guangdong coast guard, palladium is a world-famous "noble metal" with very little content in the earth's crust. Only a few countries such as Russia and South Africa produce palladium, which is more rare and precious than gold. Palladium is relatively stable in properties, has excellent physical and chemical properties, can withstand high temperature, wear and acid corrosion, almost no impurities, high purity, in addition to widely used in industrial applications, can also be made into a variety of valuable jewelry, watches, etc.
At present, the case is under further investigation.
